FLIPPING STIGMA ON ITS EAR:

Taking Action Against Stigma and Discrimination

Associated with Dementia

Happy belated new year to our Flipping Stigma community!

We would like to share an announcement with everyone about a transition happening with the Flipping Stigma team.

As the funds for the Flipping Stigma project are on their way out, the work of our team continues to press on. Many members of the Flipping Stigma Action Group will continue their advocacy and research work within the Centre for Research on Personhood in Dementia.

The Action Group has chosen to call themselves the "LIVED EXPERIENCE RESEARCH ADVISORY (LERA)" group. Find out more information about how the group will continue to be involved in research both as a group and as individuals on the updated CRPiD website.

This newsletter will continue to serve as a way to share information about the Flipping Stigma Toolkit, but it will also be a space for LERA members to share information and updates about their various other research, community work, and artistic endeavors as people living with dementia.
